I’m not going to lie.

I am not sure that I believe the user numbers that MillionaireMatch claims.

And claim them they do.

In fact, it’s proudly displayed on the registration page of MillionaireMatch for all to see.

And that number is 4,748,000+ at the current count.

Is that believable?

Well, are any of the user numbers believable for dating sites, especially if they proclaim them themselves?

But yes, almost 5 million people have signed up to be users on the site.

I suppose it’s plausible.

After all, MillionaireMatch isn’t a new dating site.

In fact, it’s been around since 2001.

Here are a few more interesting figures for you to consider:

• Around 2.6 million users are from the United States
• Over 2 million conversations between users take place each year
• Over 3 000 logins take place daily
• That’s 21 000 per week and 84 000 each month

So yes, it’s a busy site, that’s for sure.

User gender ratio and age ranges

Getting exact figures for the gender ratio on site was a little tough but from what I could find out, it was close to a 50/50 split when it comes to male and female profiles.

But what about the age ranges?

Well, the age group with most users on site was the 45-54 year-olds.

That was followed by the 35-44 year-olds, 55 and older age group, the 25-34-year-olds and lastly, the 18-24-year olds.

Before I get to finding your way around this unique dating site, I want to talk a little bit about its overall design.

It does have social networking feel about it.

From a design point of view, the website is a pretty simple modular design if a little bland.

And it’s bland because there is just a lack of color.

Everything is black and white, even the MillionaireMatch name on the website could be a little clearer.

The only splashes of color come from the user photos that you will see in the “new members” or the “you might like” section.

You’d think a site that’s about the status and prestige of half the user base could at least make the site look a little more appealing.

But I guess it’s not only about looks but how it functions too.

So then let’s talk about how you navigate your way around the site.

What MillionaireMatch loses because of its bland appearance, it more than makes up for the ease of use it offers.

You are mainly going to use the menu system that you will find at the top of the screen.

Although there are other ways to access certain parts of the site, these are all that you need really.

And they are:

• Home: If you want to return to the home screen where you can see other user updates, click on this menu
• Discover: Here you will find a range of sub-menus, all of which help you to launch different searches, many of which you can only access as a member of the site, for example, a location-based search.
